Eating out: As well as our local pubs, the Brewer's
arms (with its excellent carvery) and the Cock Inn (beautiful village setting and highly rated menu), there are plenty of
opportunites for eating out in the surrounding area. Hadleigh boasts a number of good pubs and restaurants and the whole range
of takeaways. The Crown at nearby Stoke by Nayland comes highly recommended as does the Saracans Head at Newton Green. Why
not go further afield and head down to the coast on Mersea Island to sample the seafood delights of the, now famous, Company
Shed.
